Lee Cronin's 'The Hole in the Ground' Arrives on UK Home Video This July

One of the most stand-out films of 2019 was Lee Cronin's directorial debut The Hole in the Ground. The film has received tremendous reviews and the buzz has been exceptional, this is something that you guys need to keep an eye on.

So, for those of you in the UK, The Hole in the Ground is set to arrive onto Blu-ray, DVD and as a digital download this July 8th via Vertigo Releasing, and we've been provided with the official details and artwork for the upcoming release which you can find within.
The film stars Seána Kerslake (A Date For Mad Mary), James Quinn Markey (Vikings), Simone Kirby (Peaky Blinders), Steve Wall (Nails, Vikings), Eoin Macken (Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, The Forest), and James Cosmo (Highlander, Braveheart).

Synopsis: Sarah moves her precocious son Chris to a secluded new home in a rural town, trying to ease his apprehensions as they hope for a fresh start after a difficult past. But after a startling encounter with a mysterious new neighbour, Sarah’s nerves are set on edge.

Chris disappears in the night into the forest behind their house, and Sarah discovers an ominous, gaping sinkhole while searching for him. Though he returns, some disturbing behavioural changes emerge, and Sarah begins to worry that the boy who came back is not her son.
