Dust Off That VCR - V/H/S 2 Has Been Announced

Did you love the anthology found-footage flick V/H/S? Desperate for more footage? Well, your wish is my command, as of all the days in the year, V/H/S 2 has been announced on Halloween, yep, the sequel is a go and we have the early details as well as who will be attached to direct various segments.
Even though the original film left many of us torn and many reviews were mixed, there is no denying the films impact, anyone remember the reports of people actually fainting at the Sundance Film Festival? Yep, the film has certainly left an imprint, so who could be directing this time?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gareth Evans (The Raid), Eduardo Sanchez (The Blair Witch Project), Jason Eisener (Hobo With a Shotgun), Timo Tjahjanto (Macabre) and Gregg Hale have been announced to direct the upcoming sequel.

"The first movie followed a group of students hired to break into a desolate house to find a lost VHS tape, paving the way for the movie to go into a series of found-footage stories directed by up-and-coming genre filmmakers. The new movie follows a similar structure, with a pair of investigators discovering a tape while looking for a student."

V/H/S 2 is set to begin filming in the following locations; L.A., Maryland, Nova Scotia, British Columbia and Indonesia.

Be sure to keep your eyes peeled this December 4th, as V/H/S hits home video.
