'The Mermaid: Lake of the Dead' Arrives This July

Hans Christian Anderson gave us his immortal tale The Little Mermaid (Den lille havfrue) in 1837, and now in 2019, a new tale regarding a mermaid who falls in love with a human has arrived, but they're certainly on different scales of the spectrum. From Svyatoslav Podgaevskiy (Queen of Spades: The Dark Rite, The Bride) comes his mermaid tale, The Mermaid: Lake of the Dead and we have all the details pertaining to its UK DVD release this July.
Synopsis: Roma’s life is changed forever by a meeting, and a kiss, with a strange young woman he meets at a lake deep in the forest. It is a meeting he soon regrets, when he falls prey to a mysterious ailment which gradually deprives him of his strength and vigor.

His bride Marina is ready to do whatever it takes to free her fiancé from the ancient curse. But is her love strong enough to break it?

4Digital Media have announced that they will unleash The Mermaid: Lake of the Dead onto DVD in the UK this July 22nd. Viktoriya Agalakova (The Bride) stars.
