Cast of Mortal Kombat 2021

The cast of Mortal kombat has been unveiled, the movie set to be released on March 5th 2021.

Produced by none other than James Wan, who is most famous for directing Saw and creating its iconic puppet Billy. He also directed Dead silence (2017), Insidious (2010) and The conjuring (2013). The directive duties are taken up by Simon McQuiod his directorial debut of a feature film, he mainly directed adverts in Australia, I cant wait to see what he does with this much loved game and movie franchise.


Mortal kombat has always been a huge part of my life the immortal words of "finish him/her" spring to mind, along with many iconic phrases from some of the most bad ass characters in gaming history, the likes of Scorpions'- " get over here" or the words of the almighty Raiden "There are fates far worse than death"

When the first film was released in 1995 I think most of the gaming universe was excited for this gaming franchise to become a movie reality, despite a few negative reviews i really enjoyed this adaptation. I enjoyed seeing my favourite bad ass character come to life, Kitana played by Talisa Soto.

I am incredibly excited to see what happens to this franchise, with James Wans' background I do feel that the fatalities and original goriness of the games will play a part in this film. with all that being said lets get on to the casting choices.
