But, for those of you who may be unfamiliar, Kyle and his team have delivered a slew of short horror films over the years with many hitting the festival circuit to high praise. They are highly entertaining, engaging and thought-provoking, and that's why we simply cannot get enough.
So, as you can gather, a new short is on the horizon and it's titled She Must Vanish and it's beautifully shot. Make your way within for the early details, artwork and trailer.
She Must Vanish stars Anne-Carolyne Binette, Renny Jachowicz, and Meri Spencer.
Kyle Martellacci wrote, directed and edited the short while Mathew J. Rees delivered the music and Geneviève Bigras provided the special make-up FX.
Synopsis: Residents in a seaside town succumb to the malevolence of a witch, who sets a fury in motion.
The trailer, which you can view below looks intensely intriguing. It has this 70s vibe going on which reminds me of Piers Haggard's British horror film Blood On Satan's Claw (go find it if you've never watched it), maybe it's the way the short was filmed, but I'm really diggin' the way this one looks.
So, if you guys would love to know more and keep up with everything these Canadian filmmakers are doing, be sure to hit up their official Facebook page and throw them a 'like.'
The short is expected to hit the festival circuit in the fall, so keep those eyes peeled.
