John Hughes' Sci-fi Classic 'Weird Science' Receives the 4K Treatment

John Hughes' sci-fi/comedy Weird Science is one film you can watch time and time again. It has an awesome soundtrack, an insanely awesome cast and it's inspired by EC Comics. It is just truly a gem of a film.

So it brings us great pleasure to announce that the wonderful folks over at Arrow Video are set to unleash the film on Blu-ray with a new restoration from a 4K scan of the original negative. Yes, that means you will soon get to witness Chet (played by the late Bill Paxton) as a giant turd in glorious 4K. You'll almost be able to pick out the pieces.
